Buyer Agreement & Terms of References

1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order on ebuy-infinity (ebuy∞ online marketplace), you (“Buyer”) affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Buyer Terms of Use, the Return & Refund Policy, and all other relevant platform policies. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with any purchase.

 

2. Legal Framework & Consumer Rights

This Agreement is compliant with the following statutes:
a. Digital Commerce Operation Guidelines 2021 (Ministry of Commerce)
b. Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009
c. Sale of Goods Act 1930
d. Contract Act 1872
e. Any other relevant law that’s applicable here
These laws safeguard consumers against false advertising, defective goods, and unfair practices, and entitle them to remedies.

 

3. Registration & Information Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date contact, delivery, and payment information when placing an order, ebuy-infinity will not be responsible for failed or delayed deliveries due to inaccurate Buyer details.

 

4. Ordering & Payment

All orders placed on the platform are subject to acceptance by the Seller. Payment must be made through approved payment methods such as debit and credit cards, bKash, Nagad, or other authorized gateways, ebuy-infinity acts solely as a facilitator for processing payments between Buyers and Sellers.

 

5. Product Information & Pricing

Sellers must display accurate product details including description, price (inclusive of VAT and any other cost involved), quantity, composition, expiry date, and country of origin. Buyers are entitled to full disclosure of product details before purchase.

 

6. Delivery & Risk Transfer

Delivery timelines are generally within 24 to 72 hours for within Dhaka city delivery, and maximum 120 hours for outside of Dhaka city or inter-city delivery, unless otherwise specified. Risk of loss or damage passes to the Buyer upon confirmed delivery by the courier or agent.

 

7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Buyers may request a return or refund for defective, expired, misdescribed, or missing items in accordance with the Return & Refund Policy. Sellers must process valid requests within the time specified. Complaints must be raised within 72 hours for delivery failures or non-supply.

 

8. Buyer Conduct

Buyers shall not:
a. Abuse the return/refund process.
b. Engage in fraudulent transactions.
c. Harass Sellers, delivery agents, or support staff.

9. Ratings & Reviews

Buyers may leave honest reviews reflecting their experience. False or misleading reviews are prohibited. Reviews help other Buyers make informed choices.

 

10. Liability Limitation

Ebuy-Infinity is a marketplace platform and not the manufacturer or direct seller of goods. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price paid.

 

11. Dispute Resolution & Redress

Buyer complaints will be addressed within 72 hours. Unresolved disputes may be escalated to the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection as per the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009.

 

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Any unresolved disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka.

 

13. Acknowledgement

By proceeding with your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms, platform policies, and applicable laws.
